I began my journey in the recruiting industry seven years ago, working inside fast-paced US technical staffing firms. During my tenure, I managed candidate payroll operations, audited vendor compliance agreements, and calculated recruiter commissions for hundreds of IT contract placements.

Through my daily interactions with software engineers, QA specialists, and business analysts, I realized that while staffing firms and recruiters have advanced, expensive tools to calculate margins, candidates are often negotiating completely blind.

I built StaffingCalcs to equalize this information gap. By creating client-side tools that require no server-side storage, my goal is to give candidates, independent recruiters, and contractors the precise math they need to negotiate better salaries, lower vendor splits, and claim their rightful tax exemptions (like OPT FICA refunds).
